Package Tracking Software Custom ReportingHey everyone, it’s Sara again and I’m excited that I have another new and improved feature to share! As I said last week, we are always getting a lot of feedback from our customers, and whether it be package tracking software features that could use improvement, or even feedback about how excellent we are, we like to hear it! Feedback keeps us on our toes and helps us improve our web package tracking system make it more user friendly for everyone!

That being said, Patrick actually made a video about our new custom reports feature that we’ve added to the REPORTS link in everyone’s database. This video shows how to use the new custom report package tracking software feature, and is really an excellent guide for users that aren’t sure if it’s something that they will need. Patrick does a pretty great job at explaining and showing how to use it! (he didn’t tell me to say that, I promise) 🙂

I think my favorite part about the custom reports is that it allows users to do so many different things. The report can be organized by mail box ID, company or even their last name. If you would like to know how many people are receiving packages from AMAZON, just select the notes 1 field, click “that contains” and type in AMAZON, and a report of all the packages from AMAZON will appear! It’s really that simple with our web package tracking system!

The ability to create a report by a specific date range is another possibility! Finding packages that were logged in by a specific employee in a specific date range is easy. Select the date range, and then beside the “logged in by” box, click “that” and then choose either “contains, does NOT contain, is, is not” and enter the person’s name.

So for example, if you would like to know what packages Jane logged in on September 1st to the 27th, select that date range in the calendar field, then select “logged in by,” “that contain” and finally type Jane. All of the packages that Jane logged in during that time period would show on the report.

As always, we hope everyone loves this new package tracking software feature, and when you get a chance, I strongly recommend watching the video that Patrick has created. To access this, and our other training videos, click on TRAINING VIDEOS in your main database, and the video is listed under the heading FINDING PACKAGE INFORMATION; SEARCH & REPORTS.
