Corporate Package Tracking

This week on Tales from the Mail Center, we bring you the cautionary tale of The Time Sensitive Document Fiasco – or why corporate package tracking could save the day.

Our story begins on a dark and stormy Wednesday morning, on the eighth floor of Bickerson & Wynn Law Firm.  Mr. Bickerson himself was finalizing his line of arguments for an important trial the next day, but found a vital document missing from his pile. He called his wife to see if he had left the document at the home office, and after a lengthy search, Mrs. Bickerson found pieces of paper shredded on her poodle’s favorite cushion. The dog had literally eaten Mr. Bickerson’s homework, which was not an excuse he wished to offer the judge.

So he called his defendant and requested a signed and notarized copy of the dog-eaten document to be overnighted to his office. Sure enough, the next day, the packet reached the law firm’s mail center, along with forty other parcels.

Choose Your Own Ending!

As Mr. Bickerson sweated nervously upstairs, checked his watch every 30 seconds and impatiently drummed his fingers on his desk, his very important document sat buried with the other mail as the desk clerk carefully handwrote each parcel into his log book. But, with more packages arriving by the hour, a few items were lost in the shuffle so that when Mr. Bickerson’s assistant called down to check on the document’s delivery status, the mail desk clerk honestly replied that he hadn’t seen it. The clerk finally unearthed the packet and rushed it upstairs at 3p.m. that afternoon. Sadly for Mr. Bickerson, his trial was at two.

Or…

Mr. Bickerson checked the time on his cell phone every 30 seconds that morning, and around 10a.m. he saw a text message pop up: “Your package has arrived!” He sent his assistant down to the mail center, where the mail desk clerk retrieved the packet in seconds thanks to EZTrackIt’s corporate package tracking. The trial was off to a strong start!
