Lenore Haverford was a smart and pretty young woman. Despite a difficult upbringing and overwhelming odds to the contrary, she managed to put herself through college and graduate near the top of her class. Romance was always difficult for her. Even with all of her successes, she often felt like the poor young girl she started out as. Because of this, she was often reluctant to begin a relationship for fear that her vulnerabilities would be exposed.
One day she met someone amazing who was funny, sincere, and kind. Their first date was simple, beautiful, and playful. Lenore withheld the “customary” end of date kiss, but not for lack of desire. When she never heard back from her flame, she blamed herself and the world.
Ironically, the person she should’ve blamed for this missed opportunity for love was Tony, the superintendent of her building. The day after Lenore’s date Tony saw a beautiful bouquet of flowers addressed to Lenore sitting unattended at the front desk. He didn’t want them to get lost, so he put them in the supply closet, which is where those flowers still sit today, wilting away.
Poor Lenore. If only her building had EZTrackIt package logging software she would have been notified the moment those flowers arrived either by email, text message, or even via Facebook notification! The building would have been better off too, because our Easy Track It package tracking software would allow them to log packages and other deliveries 4 to 10 times faster than logging them by hand. The Easy Track It package logging software also allows the building to keep detailed accurate records of every single item that comes in and goes out. The Easy Track It package logging system can get a signature upon delivery and remind residents if they have items that they have not yet picked up. Most importantly, the building would be able to provide a better level of service to its residents.
Without EZTrackIt package tracking software and the accountability that it can bring to your building, Tony may just continue to “protect” unattended packages in the supply closet. Oh, look! The gentleman from 4B just got a delivery of live lobster! I wonder what will happen next…
We certainly hope that someday Lenore will find her flowers and reconnect with her love. We also think that if she does, she’ll make sure that her next building has package logging software so this sort of disaster will not repeat itself.
Does your building use package tracking software? If not, contact us or try a free demo and protect your residents from the heartbreak that Lenore faced after not receiving her love’s flowers.
