Package Tracking Software Limits & Fees FeatureHey everyone! I had a customer ask me about the Fees Column on the EZTrackIt package tracking software database, and what exactly it does. First and foremost, while this feature is available to all clients, by no means is it mandatory for all clients. Most of the clients that use it are in the hospitality business. This package logging system helps them ensure that their guests aren’t receiving hundreds of packages during their stay, and if they are, they have to pay for it.

Here are some great things that the package limits and fees section of our package logging system can do that you may want to consider taking advantage of:

  • Allows you to set a base price for any packages received in that month. For example, if you want to charge $10 a month for a recipient to have their packages delivered to your mailroom, you can do that. It is easy to add any flat rate that you have determined to be optimal with our package tracking software.
  • You can also set a package limit. With this tool, you can ensure that recipients can only receive a set number of packages per month. For instance, you may set a package limit of 20. If they go over 20 packages in one month, you can charge them per package they receive after that.
  • Our package logging system also allows you to set a base rate, and a package limit. So you could charge recipients $10 a month, and then if they go over 20 packages, they are charged an additional $2 per package.
  • The package limits and fees feature of our package tracking software is a great tool even if you don’t want to charge your package recipients. You can set package limits per month, but not actually charge anyone for it. This is a great way to keep tabs on how many packages your recipients are receiving.
