Hey everyone! It’s Sara again, and I decided that because of an update to an existing feature came out this week, that it was perfect timing for me to write my weekly blog. By far one of the things I most admire about Patrick and the EZTrackIt Package Tracking Software programming team, is that they are always up for suggestions.
Since I am on the customer service end of things, I do often receive a lot of feedback about current EZTrackIt Package Tracking Software features, and ways that customers feel they can be improved. I know with companies that I have done business with, sometimes I will get asked my opinion and when I offer it, I never see any of the changes that I’ve recommended. I think that’s one of the most frustrating things, but what I have realized over my time with EZTrackIt, is that not everything is as easy to implement as we want it to be.
I will often get a suggestion from a customer that I feel is super beneficial and will help improve the package tracking system. I always relay all of the suggestions that I receive directly to Patrick, and then we talk about those features and how difficult they would be to actually put into our system. If we get a lot of requests that are basically suggesting the same thing, we always want to make sure that we’re doing what’s best for all of our clients as a whole. What may seem like a simple suggestion to one person can have ripple effects in other areas, which could cause issues. We want to ensure that we are adding something that will give us the best possible results and that WILL make our packing tracking software better.
We’re always looking for new ways to improve EZTrackIt’s Package Tracking System and definitely want to hear any feedback. Negative or positive, it is always appreciated!
All of that being said, we took a look at our “archive feature” and really wanted to improve it and make it more user friendly, if that was possible. After suggestions from clients, we have officially added a few options for to the archive section of the site. Below are the features we’ve added to our web package tracking system:
- A delete all button: This gives the option to delete every single record in the archive with one click of the mouse
- A select all button: This allows users to select all of the archives, and gives users the option to manually un-select the 1 or 2 that you would prefer stay in the archives.
- A return to “live site” button: Prior to this new update, when deleting someone in the archives, it automatically went back to the live site. That was super time consuming and frustrating. Now, when deleting someone from the archives, it stays in the archive section of the site. To return to the live database, just click the “return to live site button.”
We’re certain you will enjoy this new feature and that it will help to eliminate any issues that have been encountered in the past with the archive feature. One of our goals for our Package Tracking Software is to always take feedback and suggestions from our customers into account! If there is ever a problem, a question, a concern, or you even if you just want to praise us for how awesome we are, I want to hear from you.
