Yesterday millions of people watched the Ravens play the 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. No matter which team you were rooting for, you probably attributed their success and performance leading up to the Super Bowl to the players and the coach, but what about the guys behind the scenes? These include the people who make the plays, investors in the team, grounds keepers, security guards, referees, announcers, camera men, score keepers, the list goes on. There are countless individuals behind the scenes who make everything possible. Similarly, mail room employees are the people behind the curtain in any organization who make the day to day operations run smoothly.
Between logging incoming packages, finding parcels within the organization, delivering these items to their recipients, and dealing with outgoing packages, these employees are busy bees! Though these are not the most glamorous or exciting tasks, without them, employees in other departments wouldn’t have the items that they need and samples, blue prints, contracts and other important items would never make their way to clients. We should all take a step back and appreciate all that they do for us each day.
In addition to merely expressing our appreciation, why not make their lives easier? We can help them help us with the use of package tracking software. Our Easy Track It package logging system helps your mailroom employees log packages 4-10 times faster than by hand. They will be able to enter all of the necessary tracking information into our cloud based package tracking software via computer or mobile device. Furthermore, once the package leaves the mailroom, your employees will be able to track it as it moves through your organization with our package tracking software’s waypoints system. Finally, logging items out and capturing signatures is a cinch with mobile devices and our package logging system.
So the next time that you are admiring all that your organization has accomplished, take a moment to appreciate the people behind the scenes. And if these people are still logging packages by hand, show your appreciation by making their jobs easier. Implement a proper package logging system.
